[light bumping to upper corners, faint soiling to top of text block; jacket moderately edgeworn, several small tears and some associated creasing at top of front panel, rubbing/scuffing on spine, a bit of soiling to rear panel]. Trashy novel of theatrical life, centering around a drama school that's apparently populated entirely with beautiful and ambitious would-be actresses with a variety of (ahem) talents: "Joan, Candy -- dozens of others like them -- anxious to make an impression on the teachers, on producers, on playwrights -- on anybody who could give them a boost on their way to the crazy dream of Valhalla -- the Broadway stage.".
