A very controversial book when published, it was banned in the United Kingdom. The book is in fine condition with no rem…ainder marks, a tight and square binding, with no owner inscriptions or highlighting and no staining or marking. The dust jacket is also in fine condition, not price-clipped ($19.95), with no creases, chips or tears and absolutely minimal shelf wear. Inscribed on the half-title page by the author, February 1st, 1988, and with the recipient's ownership inscription on the upper pastedown. Loosely inserted is a note (plus posting envelope) from the author's wife, Lois Wright, asking the owner of the book to send it for Peter to sign. The British MOD tried hard to prevent the publication of this expose by Peter Wright, initially banning the book in England and Wales. The court case in Australia received enormous publicity and is the subject of Malcolm Turnbull's book The Spy Catcher Trial. Signed.
