Sporting embellished by large engravings and vignettes with pictures painted by T Gainsborough, E Landseer, A Cooper, Charles Hancock, J F Lewis, W Barraud and others. Literary contributions by Thomas Hood, John Hamilton Reynolds and others. Large green leather bound hardcover with gilt borders and gilt titles on front and spine, and cover wear confined to corners and spine ends. There is some staining of a number of pages, viii, 144 pages and 36 of 38 illustrations (2 are missing facing pages 8 and 105), all full page plates have paper guards, some staining of a number of pages. Published in 1838 this book is in good to very good condition. Further information readily available if required.
