Binding cracked at title page; webbing visible, but pages not loose. Corners and spine ends bumped and rubbed, with minor fraying at tips, and a few small short tears at head of spine. Covers have light to moderate edge wear and surface rubbing. Pages lightly and uniformly tanned but still supple. Pages clean and unmarked. Two volumes, paginated separately, 547 + 498 pages. No dust jacket. Spine title, in gold frame: "Macaulay's Speeches and Poems". Below frame is stated "New Standard Edition". Volume is 7.5 inches in height. Carefully packed, shipped in a box.
