8pp, disbound, else Very Good. Caption title, as issued. The Democratic Congressman from Maryland was an elector for the Pierce-King ticket in 1852. Here he speaks in favor of the ticket, and criticizes the dying Whig Party and its candidate Winfield Scott for having no discernible principles or platform. Not in Sabin.
