hardback. Condition: Good. No Jacket. hardback, octavo, blue cloth lettered gilt, cloth part faded, recased at some point in original binding but with new front endpapers. Pencil markings scattered to the first sixty or so pages of text and toward the end. Folding map, b&w plates, 517pp.

Condition: Good. 517 pages. No dust jacket. Blue cloth. Pages are lightly tanned and thumbed at the edges, with light foxing. Binding has remained firm. Boards are a little rub worn, slight shelf wear to corners, spine and edges. Corners are a little bumped. Spine ends are mildly crushed. Light tanning to spine and edges. Book has a forward lean. Boards are bowed.

The Right Book Club, nd (c1938). First edition. A very good copy with cloth boards with light tanning to the spine and to the panels. The endpapers and edges are browned and there is an imprinted previous owners stamp to the front free endpaper. Otherwise this is a nice clean, straight copy.
