In remarkably good condition in red cloth with elaborate gilt decorated front, spine and titles. Slight wear to corners and spine edges. Sewn binding tight and solid, square, endbands. Hinges intact. Top edge gilt. Fore-edge and lower edge rough cut. May be some uncut leaves. Frontis plate with lettered guard. Three other plates, monotone. Internals lightly toned, in remarkably good condition--clean, no markings, no creases or tears. Nice frontispiece engraving with captioned tissue guard - Sinking of the Lusitania. Three other illustrations all with captioned tissue guards.
