First edition of Soldier from the Wars Returning by Jerrard Tickell in the original publisher's cloth binding and scarce unclipped dust wrapper.Scarce to be found in the first edition, with only ten copies held in libraries.Jerrard Tickell was an Irish writer known for his historical novels on the Second World War. In the original publisher's cloth binding and unclipped dust wrapper. Externally, smart. There is some minor bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. The cloth is slightly faded. The hinges are slightly strained but firm. The dust wrapper is worn to the extremities, with many open tears, creases, and spots. There is some loss to the head and tail of the spine and the rear. Internally, firmly bound. The pages are bright and clean. Very Good. book.
