Blue cloth binding is a bit faded along the top edge. Top stain was probably once a prettier color (we were all prettier 60 years ago).

A Slanting Light won the James Tait Black Memorial Prize for fiction (Scottish Arts Council). Charles also won the Whitbread Award in 1971 for The Destiny Waltz. Good in fair dust jacket, protected with an archival-quality mylar cover.
