THE D/W IS RUBBED AND WORN TO THE EDGES AND CORNERS WITH SOME CREASING TO THE EDGES AND SOME SMALL TEARS TO THE FRONT. SOME YELLOWING OR DISCOLOURATION APPARENT TO THE PAGE EDGES AND THE SPINE IS VERY SLIGHTLY COCKED BUT THE BINDING'S STILL NICE AND TIGHT. IT'S A CLEAN EXAMPLE OF THIS HARD TO FIND EDITION.

Hardback. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Good. Elgee, Cecil (illustrator). First edition. 1st 1960. Almost very good condition in a good dustwrapper. Green boards, dark red title to spine and vignette to front cover. B/w illustrations. 6 tales. Damp mark to bottom edge and spine. Splash mark to top edge of outer page edges, going to page margins. Wrapper is price-cut with heavy browning/foxing, especially to rear panel; a few closed tears and nicks. White marks to front panel. Packaged with care and promptly dispatched!
