There are slight variations between first printings of this book, this one being printed by William Clowes, with no price on the dust jacket, top edge not dyed blue, the covers on this variant have a slightly different finish to the Billings variant and are very slightly lighter blue, the map at p120 is placed facing p121, rather than 120 in the domestic, the fold out map is made from a slightly different thickness of paper and has no border. Dust jacket is partly faded to the spine, with a small scuff to the top edge, otherwise tidy. Blue covers with bright gilt lettering to the spine, square, securely bound. Pages clean and bright, previous owners name and date to the free endpaper, complete with smart fold out map at the back. Very good condition.
