Green cloth. 223 pp. The author was a mining engineer, and made trips to central and eastern Siberia to develop copper and coal mines in Siberia, and also to prospect for gold. ".chapters on hunting wolves, wild boars, deer and wapiti." (Czech). There is a chapter on angling with a light trout rod for 5 lb. golden carp, nelma, harius, pike, "a fresh-water shark called the somme and weighed nearly fifty pounds", and one on bustard (jerboa) shooting. Very good.
