(Ang). ~ The first edition form a series of articles on shooting appeared in "The New Sporting Magazine" of May, 1833 the material was used for an article on shooting in the Encyclopedia Britannica in the 1840's. Editor was James Wilson (pseud. Tom Oakley). Oakleigh Old Manor House is located in Shropshire, England and the estate is presently for sale at 3.5 million pounds.
