Soft cover. Condition: Near Fine/Fine. 1st Edition. Vintage Paperback PBO Gold Medal # s1146. Sharp First Printing of this Paperback Original, August, 1961. $.35 cover price. Square, tight and clean throughout with little or no wear or toning. Stamp of the "Seafarer's Log Library on the top edge of the text block but no other markings and this was clearly unread. Fresh and bright with no chipping, creases or tears. Remarkably well-preserved. A gorgeous collectable copy and though not uncommon, much scarcer in such high-grade condition.
