First edition, signed by the author to title page. London: The Epworth Press, 1954. Hardback, VG, in unclipped dustjacket with minor shelfwear and a few small marks. Cream boards replicating the dustkacket design. Binding strong. Very light foxing to endpapers. 64pp. A few light pencil annotations to final page, otherwise contents clean and bright. "By the famous author of Windyridge" (from the cover). William Riley (23 April 1866 4 June 1961) was an English novelist. He was born in Laisterdyke, Bradford. He wrote 39 books using the name W.
