"This Second Earth" - a post atomic-bomb apocalyptic novel (published during the height of nuclear bomb paranoia) - was the only sf title published under the Cobra imprint. Bowers was a pseudonym for the prolific… John Glasby who supplied many of the sf titles for John Stevens' various fiction imprints (primarily Badger). The covers and spine have wear, creases, marks, scuffing. The back cover has a surface scar. The covers and spine are secure and sure. Within, the early pages have damp storage tide-marks.
