Add to basketHardcover. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: very good. 64 pp., small 8vo, blue cloth, gilt spine title, dustjacket. With a warm, contemporary presentation inscription from poet, translator, arts advocate and educator W. J. Strachan (1903-1994) to British painter, engraver and art educator Geoffrey Rhoades (1898-1980)…. Strachan met Rhoades after the latter joined the faculty at Bishop's Stortford College, a boys' public school in Hertfordshire, where Strachan also taught. The two became good friends, as evidenced by their extensive correspondence. Very good, well-preserved copy (light foxing on the endleaves and a few spots on the foredge) in a very good dustjacket (some age-toning at the spine panel and edges).
