No Binding. Condition: Very Good. Barbara Rae (illustrator). 1st Edition. Barbara Rae print titled Seafield is an etching and collagraph,showing a landscape at dusk. Printed by Rand Studio, Strathy, Scotland in 1995, on C M Fabriano -100/100 cotton paper. Signed, titled, with AP [Artists Proof] written in pencil by the artist. The edition size was eventually only 15 copies. The etching is attached to a backing board with tape, which has come through onto the front of the sheet. Examine photographs carefully. At present it is framed in a plain black frame with glass, but it can be posted rolled or hand delivered within the M25 area of London.Plate size 40 x 45.5 cm (15.75 x 18 inches)Sheet size 59 x 60 cm (23.5 x 24 inches) Reference: The above etching can be found in the book 'Barbara Rae Prints' published by the Royal Academy of Arts, 2010, page 81. 'Seafield is an etching and collagraph, printed by Rand Studio, Strathy, Scotland in 1995. After some research, an etching from the Perpetua Pope Collection, not the one we have for sale, was numbered one of 15 copies. As Rae often did prints in small edition sizes, one can only assume that the edition size was 15 copies only. Seafield is a small village in West Lothian, Scotland. Signed by Author(s).
