Leather bound first editions hardback; Part I of 'Scripture Vindicated' has [4] + 94 pages; part II has [4] + 160 pages, the final part has [8] + 121 +[1] pages, it is complete. The second title This has [4] + 104 pages and is complete. The books are soundly bound in contemporary full calf, which has been neatly respined. The endpapers have some foxing, the bookplates of The General Theological Seminary Library, and an owner's inscription. There is some light foxing in places with a few gathers with heavier foxing / browning. The first half of the book has bumped bottom outer corners. A couple of leaves have small tears without loss.
