No Dust jacket, green cloth hardback with embossed decorationon front and gilt lettering and design on spine. covers are marked, edges rubbed, Interrnally, adverts at the front of the book, foxing on page edges, and on occasional pages throughout the book, slightly sunned page edges, otherwise clean tight copy in good/acceptable condition, for its age, rough cut page edges, 566pp plus adverts Illustrated including frontispiece portrait of John Knox. Published 1852 by W R M'Phun Bookseller and Pubisher to His Royal Highness the Prince Albert. Book#100568.
