Age-dulled marbled boards which now rubbed and mainly brown-hued and can see print underneath (must have used a old piece of text underneath marbling?) Inner front hinge split but holding. Worn spine which now a dulled blueish hue with rubbed and illegible title plate. Heavily worn to boards' corners and spine-ends and boards' edges. Browning to page-edges, some marks to endpapers (both sets - mostly light brown staining/spotting to early and late pages o/w pages clean and tidy.

Red cloth binding with blind stamped decoration to front and rear board and gilt decorated spine with gilt titling. The boards are rubbed and faded with some soiling. The hinges have parted and left the text block loose. The text block is tight, foxing throughout, Many of the pages are uncut.

Slight mottling to the covers, small fray to the tail of the backstrip, trace of removal of a plate on the front pastedown, faint mottling to the frontis otherwise with near fine contents and complete with the half-title. Light book, postage will be reduced to cost on processing.

Hard. Condition: Good Minus. Rubbed and chipped, stain to front, has been rebound at some point, frontis is the Birmingham Railway which does not look like it fits with contents, pages clean and bright. Size: 12mo.
