Hardcover, 8vo., 200 pages. Illustrated with photographs & diagrams. The book describes the construction of the freelance one-inch to the foot scale model traction engine "Minnie", which appeared in a series of instalments in Model Engineer, commencing in January 1969 and running through into 1970. The author included additional matter to clarify points that arose from correspondence with readers during the currency of the series. Dustjacket chipped at heel, crown and corners, but otherwise sound. Now wrapped in Brodart. Book fine other than some evident thumbing, no doubt from a model builder, on page ends (see photo).

Soft cover. Condition: Very Good. 1st Edition. Foxed to front and rear panel faded to spine minor rubs to corners. Foxed to textblocks mainly top, Pages clean no inscription VG.

Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Good. First Edition. Very Good in a Good dust jacket. Some notations in ink on the front endpage, no other marks. Binding is solid, contents are clean and bright. Jacket has chipping and short tears at corners and spine-ends, plus some creasing at head of spine. 197 pages, followed by the Index. Illustrated with numerous diagrams and B&W photos.
