Paperback. Condition: New. Print on Demand. This book is a collection of regulations, rules, and field exercises developed by the British military in the late 18th century for use by infantry regiments. It is the second edition of a work originally published four years earlier and contains an expanded and updated set of rules covering all aspects of infantry movement, musketry, and battalion maneuvers at a time of significant change and adaptation for the British military. Aimed at standardizing the training and battlefield effectiveness of infantry regiments throughout the army, it reflects the author's extensive knowledge and experience in military tactics and strategy and remains a valuable historical document for those interested in military history, drill, and the development of infantry tactics in the late 18th century. This book is a reproduction of an important historical work, digitally reconstructed using state-of-the-art technology to preserve the original format. In rare cases, an imperfection in the original, such as a blemish or missing page, may be replicated in the book. print-on-demand item.
