Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. 1st Edition. 134 pages, illustrated with a number of full-page photographic plates not included in the pagination. First edition, with Doran colophon on copyright page. A biography of the renowned British boxer, who beat both Jack Dempsey and James J. Corbett; at 165 pounds, he is reportedly the lightest man to win the heavyweight championship. Very good condition (tight and unworn, inscription inside front board) in somewhat worn but serviceable dust jacket (one chip bottom of rear cover, a couple of nicks in the spine, light soil, tears along the folds). Uncommon in the jacket.
