Two volumes, both used hardcover in a dust jacket (NO SLIPCASE). jacket is slightly worn about the edges, but with no tears and not price clipped. volume one has some minor peeling/rippling to spine and a touch of discoloration at the base. pages and binding are clean, straight and tight. there are no marks to the text or other serious flaws.

Focuses solely on identifying and chronicling the drawings of Flemish painter Peter Paul Rubens (1577-1640). Volume 1 provides the text and descriptions of the 208 items, while Volume 2 illustrates them. Compiler Ludwig Burchard passed away during his work on the project, and Roger-Adolf d'Hulst completed it. A nice set. G (Books and pages are good and solid with light tanning along page edges; djs have moderate edgewear and few small tears.).
