No date provided, however estimate it to be from the late 1800's Paper covered boards with two little girls with flowers printed on the cover and the initials of MG follow below the illustration. Corners of the book are bumped and worn through Light soiling to the covers. Brown cloth spine. Stapled binding was used and the pages are still intact and bound with the staples, but they are no longer attached to the boards. End papers are a faint floral design. No title page, as issued. Four sweet color illustrations that do have some minor shadowing from the illustration on the page opposite. Also includes additional illustrations in brown as is the text on the other pages. Minimal soiling to the text block. Last page has the No. 865 printed. ; 8vo 8" - 9" tall.

This came just sas 'Rosy Cheeks' out in USA as a shaped book with verse; this edition is prose. The WorldCat copy takes the title from the cover as it appears to have been issued without title page. No date (about 1897) A moral tale about a proper Victorian girl, her dolly and kitten (who is her fairy god-mother in disguise). Features a talking cat that changed them into other people or things with a magic wand. One of the girls became a China doll for a time. Original publisher's colour Illustrated boards with red linen spine. Neat name on front endpaper dated Christmas 1898, Somewaht rubbed and worn, vcrease with break at front corner but no loss, content block stapled but loose from boards, text and illus clean; good only.
