Condition: Good. 1926. First Edition. 168 pages. No dust jacket. Paper covered boards with black cloth to spine. Clean pages with noticeable tanning and foxing throughout. Tightly bound with mild thumb-marking throughout. Pencil inscription to half title page. Boards have light shelf-wear with corner bumping. Heavy tanning to spine and edges. Books has a backward lean. Boards are mildly warped. Mild water droplets to boards.

No Jacket. hardback, small quarto, quarter black cloth with paper title to spine, red paper covered boards, colour run to the edges of the front pastedown and to the bottom leading corner of the rear pastedown, gift inscription to a previous owner at the head of the half-title, a good tightly bound copy, coloured frontis, maps, colour and b&w plates, xii + 168pp. An additional paper title for the spine is neatly tipped in at rear.

Illustrated with 10 monotone plates by Hanslip Fletcher, 10 full color plates by Kenneth Hobson, and a double page map on front end-papers. Untrimmed, Dustjacket age worn and toned, lacking large chip from top of front panel affecting the first word of title "In". Book is in near fine condition with strong hinges, clean interior, all plates present. Page edges beginning to show mild toning, else a very nice copy. Dust-jacket is worn.
