Octavo; publisher's red boards, black spine titling; 255pp. Boards rubbed and rather bumped along margins with brief exposure at corners and spine ends, occasional soiling to binding and textblock, textblock additionally rather toned due to inferior paper quality, spine a bit creased and cocked; a Good to Very Good copy, albeit lacking uncommon jacket. One of seventy-two detective novels pseudonymously written by Cecil Rhodes featuring the investigative prowess of Dr. Priestley.
