First Edition
Gilt-lettered brown cloth. Condition: Good+. 1st ed. ix+77, 23 ills inc. 2 unfolding sections (these ex-pagination);front gutter cracked but holding, leave 16/17 & 18/19 have two nicks and slight creasing to fore-edges, the 1st unf.ill. has a thin griubby sl.nicked strip across bottom extending edge and central fold is also grubby and creased on recto, these presumably due to careless folding out of alignment at some stage and ham-fisted casual efforts to get it straight again - have now sorted this fairly effectively and reinforced affected edge and fold with wide transparent tear repair tape, the second unfolding ill. is unaffected, otherwise internally clean, tight and unmarked but bottom of rear endpaper slightly stuck to margin of preceding leaf; covers clean but affected by four paper adhesion ghosts to top front marking coorners of removed label presumably, a single small paper adhesion top corner back by spine, top front joint has 2 cm split, spine ends a little rubbed, and bottom edges rubbed towards outer corners exposing underlying card, back extends 3.5 cms from corner, the other much shorter. Despite the flaws, worse perhaps for being fully detailed, this remains a very acceptable working/reference copy of this scarce point, more to the point only recent paperback reprints currently listed, explicitly omitting unfolding ills. and 'resized'. Of interest from both topographical Dublin interest and civil/hydraulic engineering history angles. Note: quoted shipping rates are calculated for 500-700 gram net weight, cost will be modified up or down as appropriate outside this range. Size: 16 Cms x 23 Cms.
