Book is tight, square, particularly sharp-cornered and free of markings and flaws inside and out, other than very minor soiling to front. Still, Near Fine. Unclipped Dust Jacket shows original price of $3.50 and has bright red design to front. Very little scuffing or shelfwear - small closed tear to top of front - close to near fine but Very Good. Uncommon particularly in this condition with the DJ. The author fought in the first Arab-Israeli War in 1948 and also in WWII. Spicehandler was born in Brooklyn and grew up in a Hebrew speaking family devoted to Zionism. Important book.
