In still-bright pictorial boards which have only a little edge wear and bumping to corners. A few tiny chips to the boards but barely noticeable. Light foxing to page block edge. Illustrated end papers have a few spots of foxing and price clipped ffep. Internally excellent.

First Edition. 1950 first edition hardcover in illustrated paper covered boards with red cloth spine showing color loss at periphery and shelf wear at lower board edges. Corner clipped illustrated fep and light foxing on title page are the only noted faults. Book is filled with adorable color art throughout. Includes seven stories about Rex and his dressed animal friends.
