Reprint of the classic sociological study published in 1848 by so-called father of sociology, 12mo, part of paper cover glued to boards has been rubbed, signs of book having been in a fire w/o damage to book or text just blackened traces to exterior boards, 444pps. Good and internally clean. Date is a guess.
A later reprint probably mid 20th century. The book is bound in half vellum with gilt page tops; the binding is sound. The endpaper has an owner's bookplate. There is some light edge foxing throughout. xx + 444.
