    A total of eight report cards 4 x 6, (and one report card envelope), four certificates (for studying Gregg shorthand), 6.5 x 3.5 on card stock, commencement program for the Class of June 1938, 8 x 4.75 and opens to 8 x 9.5. Some soiling, wear and spotting, offsetting inside program from a newspaper clipping else good. At this time, the Detroit School of Commerce occupied the former facility of Cass Technical HS. It focused on business education and also served as a finishing school for female students in areas such as typing, penmanship, shorthand and bookkeeping. Also comes with: Olson's report cards (7), 1929-1934, for Roosevelt School in Grand Forks, ND, result of State Final Examination (2), award for placing second place in a spelling contest along with the spelling list and her (elementary school) diploma.
