The end of Cold War disintegration of USSR and other changes raised questions about the relevance of NAM as it is considered to be a situational movement which had developed in the bipolar world. With the end of bipolar world the question of its relevance started surfacing. The present study analyses this question. It examines Post Cold War World Order through a detailed analyse of the NAM Conferences since 1991 traces the shift in NAM and its relevance in the present world order. It also examines the challenges that NAM faces with in the movement and from the forces working in new political and economic order. In this context the author has suggested some strategies for overcoming these challenges and thus made a case for the continuation of NAM.
