Couverture rigide. Condition: Bon. 2ème Édition. En 1955 Violette Leduc est victime de la censure éditoriale de Gallimard qui supprima les cent cinquante premières pages de ce roman . L'autrice y décrivait dans un style imagé, mais aussi avec une exactitude d'entomologiste, les ébats passionnés de deux collégiennes, Thérèse et Isabelle. Jacques Guérin publia à un tirage très restreint 28 exemplaires cette partie censurée par l'éditeur. Ce texte sera réédité en 1966 par Gallimard sous le titre de Thérèse et Isabelle, mais toujours dans une version incomplète, et il faudra attendre 2000 pour que Gallimard le publie dans son intégralité. Sur les conseils de Simone de Beauvoir, Violette Leduc en inséra une partie dans La Bâtarde paru en 1964.
