Condition: Good. Each issue seems to have consisted of a single broadsheet with text in six columns on both sides. 48 x 63 cm. when unfolded. Six fold lines (one vertical and five horizontal) where folded for later compact storage. Minor splitting along some folds with modest loss of paper (and a little text) where a couple of the fold lines intersect. This newspaper was founded with encouragement from Victor Hugo by his sons Charles and Francois-Victor (and two or three other individuals) in 1869. These issues contain almost no advertising. We did not notice anything in these issues identified as written by Victor Hugo.
