Condition: Fair. Acceptable condition. Maps at pp. 5 & 20 missing. (United States, Ohio).

Hardcover. Condition: Good. No Jacket. Dampness has seeped into more than just the cover. Boards are moderate to severely edgeworn. Binding is very loose. The binding is no longer attached to the pages. Moderate shelf wear. Please note the image in this listing is a stock photo and may not match the covers of the actual item. Book.

Cloth. Condition: Very Good. No Jacket. 1st Edition. Brown, emboss ruled cloth with gilt lettering to the front. This copy is VG. Exterior has worn spine ends and tips, but very little edge wear. Gilt is bright. A few small rubs to back boards and scatteredfaint spots/ stains to the front. Inside is shaken, front hinges cracked but holding nicely. Unmarked, colorful with expected age toning near edges. Two large Maps attached : Indiana at the front and the World at the back. Plus a large map of Morgan County, Indiana laid in at the front, which was a local purchasing option at the time. "Price $5.00" on the title page, which would be approximately $150 today. This is the EARLIEST such Rand McNally, State Map publication found on Abe as of November 2021. Others are 1909 or later and none with a County map laid in.

Hardcover. Condition: Very Good-. 104 pp; Front inner hinge is cracked, book block is weak but holding firm, covers have edge wear at the corners. A nice attractive book. Complete with all maps, large world folding map in rear is fine.

Edge and corner wear, some fraying at the corners and at the top and bottom of the spine as well, page 53 has an area around Milwaukee, Wis. circled in ink and on page 122 there is a check mark by a city in Wisconsin, front cover has a stain in the lower quarter, pages are toning, missing the large county and railway map of illinois, also missing the large map of the cty of chicago, overall a very clean and well-preserved historical first edition! Very very scarce and hard-to-find copy! Extremely collectible! Red cloth with gilt lettering! 122 historical pages wonderfully illustrated in color and black and white! "A separate local survey of the county showing townships in colors and other details specially prepared from recent surveys and drawings made expressly for this work. A new, complete ready reference index to the state of Illinois. Also a concise review (illustrated) of the state. Colored maps of every state and territory and the continents, with marginal indexes. Red cloth printed in gilt, 14.25 x 11.5 inches. Very good condition with some fraying to corners and spine ends, good hinges, sound text block, very clean pages with a name and address neatly written in pencil inside the front cover, no other markings. Maps all in very good condition. First Edition. Hard Cover. Very Good. Folio - 12" - 15" Tall.
