Tirage limité à 100 exemplaires hors-commerce sur vélin d'Arches, non numérotés. Ces notes sur l'art seront considérées comme assez importantes pour être reprises par la suite, et sous divers titres, tant par Valéry lui-même -qui en 1930 les intégrera, avec des variantes, dans Choses tues, et les laissera imprimer dans la N.R.F.- que par ses compilateurs et commentateurs. Ainsi, également en 1930, Valéry Larbaud les reproduira dans son Paul Valéry sous le titre Calepin. Bel exemplaire. Très légère brunissure de la partie supérieure du premier plat de couvertures.
