Muted green top edge; light toning to endpapers; past owner's pencil signature on front pastedown; interior pages are otherwise clean. Binding is firm. Else a very good- copy in a very good- dust jacket. At the time of the book's publication, co-author George Gamow, a Russian-born American theoretical physicist and cosmologist, was Professor of Physics at the University of Colorado-Boulder preceded by positions Niels Bohr Institute, George Washington University, and University of California, Berkeley, among other institutions.
