Hardcover. Condition: Near Fine. Rebound in recent half morocco, gilt titles and decorations to the spines. The leather is smart, the boards with the odd mark and some deckling to the cloth of the front board of volume I. The odd small mark. All edges sprayed blue. Renewed blanks and endpapers. Contemp. ownership inscription to the title page of volume I. THe bindings remain firm, leaves a touch toned and offset opp. plates, with the odd spot. Illustrated with engraved portraits, Volume I complete with four, volume II with three. A lovely little set in a 20th century binding.
