Alphabetical listings on white paper, classified business advertising on yellow, some ads on coated or colored paper. Moderate age toning throughout, light stains and rubbing to covers, binding tight. Twentieth year of the independent directory published for the South Side Chicago neighborhood founded as housing for employees at the eponymous passenger railroad car builders. The ads provide rich insight into the daily lives, and aspirational dreams, of Pullman residents. Published January and July, 1929, and distributed free to homes. Scarce, with no institutional copies or other editions located by OCLC.
