Condition: Fair. 1924. First Edition. 138 pages. No dust jacket. Red cloth. Pages are moderately tanned at the edges, with notable foxing. Occasional thumb marks to pages edges. Binding has remained firm. Boards have slight shelf wear with bumping to corners. Spine ends are a little crushed. Light tanning to spine and edges.

Red cloth cover. unpag. prelims + 138 pp.; brown strips to inner edges of endpapers offset from jacket wraparounds, brown flecking through to t.p. at front and final leaf, a few clumsy fore-edge openings, top edge dust-marked, small knock bottom spine; unclipped jacket now quite dull, spine browned, some nicks and rubbing to top edge and bottom spine, but complete and clean and surprisingly good for age. The case history of man with remarkable ability to judge character from handwriting and also to copy it with results that verged on paranormal.
