Volume one is limited to 496 hardbound copies of which this is number 228 (1979). Volume two is limited to 983 hardbound copies of which this is number 228 (1983). Volume one has red cloth over boards with gold titling to spine and gold titling and portrait to front board. Volume two has black cloth over boards with gold titling to spine and gold titling and portrait to front board. Pages are clean and unmarked. Endpapers have light tanning and foxing to edges. Text block is lightly foxing with spots of soiling to fore edge at volume one and to top edge of volume two. Boards have light shelf wear, moderate to heavy soiling and tarnishing to title and portrait, and bumping to corners. Volume two has scuffing to center of rear board and sunning to fore edge of front board. Volume one has soiling to edges of front board. Binding is tight, front board slightly bows outward.
