The hardcover is lightly faded and worn with a crease on the rear board and a few bumps to the edges. Foxing on the (slightly rough) page block and to a lesser extent on some pages. A few of the preface pages are heavily marked on the edges, however the text remains legible. The binding is sound. CM. Used.

No Jacket. 1st ed. xliv+69+(10, Glossary); small 1947-dated sig. of Newcasle University philosopher and logician G.C.J.Midgley top front endpaper, otherwise clean, tight and unmarked, top edge soemwhat dusty, covers clean and unworn but perhaps a tad dull.
