Inscribed by the pianist Thibaudet, who performed works of Debussy and Chopin, to Lavinia C. Meeks, January 1989, on the front page. Meeks, a New York singer, who moved to Hollywood in the 1960s, was a family friend of the artist Al Hirschfeld. Meeks and Hirschfeld's daughter Nina both belonged to the Blue Hill Troupe, a Gilbert and Sullivan group, who performed for a variety of charities. An unusual piece of memorabilia.
