Hardcover. Condition: Good. No Jacket. In a black cloth hardcover with silver titles to spine and front. No dust jacket. 400 pp., extensively illustrated in black and white. The book is in good + condition. There is very light shelf-wear to the cover but quite extensive light marking. The bottom front corner of the cover is bruised. There is some foxing to the end papers and some damp staining to the bottom of the front end papers which has deckled the bottom of the other pages of the front matter. There is very faint tanning of the extremities of the pages which are otherwise clean and unmarked. Book weighs 2.2 kg., additional postage will be required.

Many b/w and colour illustrations. Bright silver titles and decorations to spine and upper cover on black pebbled boards. Green tint to top page edge. Binding is very firm and tight. Slight bumping to one cover corner and small stain at foot of upper cover. Slight fading to tint on top page edge. Apart from owner's name on front pastedown, interior is very clean with no inscriptions. Not ex-library.

Internally: clean and tightly bound; green print stamp from Flintshire County Library to edition page; bookplate from same library to front paste down along with small discreet bookplate from most recent owner; remains of issue stamp sheet and stamp 'withdrawn from stock' to front free end paper; no further marks or stamps; page edges pale green; generally a very good copy for its age. The photos show the condition better than I can describe but overall I believe it to be in Near Fine condition for its age. The book has a straight spine, with sharp corners and firm spine ends. The lettering and illustrations on the boards and spine is intact. The page edges are toned but the interior pages are clean and the binding tight. There is no date of publication. The book has 400 pages, including index.
