Illustrated with fifty wood cut engravings. Original speckled calf leather binding. Page block is solid and clean with light scattered toning and foxing. Front board detached and rear board tender in the joint. Leather at spine stressed and darkened with cracking to hardened surface. Morocco leather title label is darkened and cracked but legible. An age darkened prior owner paper label at spine is missing portions. A period manuscript ownership signature to front pastedown is largely erased with two succeeding ownership signatures present to the front endpage. Extensive catalog of publisher ads at rear. Text block VG but binding fair to Good only. Could be rebacked retaining original binding materials. Overall G to G+ thus.
