Hard Cover. First Edition. First UK Edition, First Printing. . first edition, first printing; viii, 216. A fine copy recently rebound in brown cloth with gilt lettering to the spine and pale green end-papers. From the library of the "Central Library for Students" neatly stamped on the front and verso of the title page. The stamp to the front of the title page has an additional stamp; DOCUMENT SUPPLY CENTRE/ DUPLICATE FOR DISPOSAL. Notwithstanding the library origins of this copy it appears to have been little read (if read at all) and is in excellent condition. The interior is remarkably clean. Many of the papers appear here in book form for the first time notably Einstein': "Does the Inertia of a Body Depend on its Energy Content?". This paper is better known as the E = mc2 (or E = MC Squared). This is the most important theory in Physics and often referred to as the Theory of Mass Energy Equivalence. An important book and genuinely rare. Looks very smart in its acetate protector. Photographs/scans available upon request.
