Soft cover. Condition: Very Good. Dated 1838 [the first edition was 1810 by John Harris]. 16mo. Bound in original pictorial orange printed paper covers. 32pp inc wrappers with fourteen proverbs, each with a wonderful full page wood engraving, some are signed with initials to indicate John Hall. There is some light foxing throughout the text, binding is loose, paper covers are lightly worn, otherwise a very nice copy.
