Condition: Good. No Edition Remarks. 256 pages. No dust jacket. Decorative green cloth. Pages are tanned and foxed, however plates remain bright & clear. Text is clear. Binding remains firm. Boards have mild edge-wear with bumping to corners. Light crushing to spine. Noticeable white staining.

3 vols. Illustrated from photographs and drawings (some color). 8vo, original green cloth. Some slight foxing to preliminaries; cloth a little rubbed, but tight and sound.

Hardcover. Condition: Good. Complete in three volumes, some colour illustrations and many black and white photographic plates, numerous in-text illustrations. Green cloth-covered boards, two colour design, borders and titles on front and spine. 4to. Boards heavily mottled, rubbed and bumped corners and spine ends. Text block edges starting to tan and fox. Free endpapers foxing and tanning otherwise, internally neat, clean, bright and tight.

First edition. The editors were "assisted by over 40 expert contributors" 8vo., 3 volumes in original decorative cloth. A near fine set.
